Sewer Backup After Heavy Rains

There are times when the rain water raises the water levels too high and sewers begin to back up in homes. Sewer water is highly contaminated and the insurance company will want certain things done to make sure your home is healthy after the cleanup.

First, we have to remove all the contaminated materials from the home. Anything that is porous will need to be disposed of including carpets, pads, and drywall. Next, we cleanup the home and spray a disinfectant. Lastly, we place drying equipment in the home for a few days until everything is ready for the rebuilding process.
